Out of Order
Sermons can come in different forms and formats. Today’s came from the First Church of Hollywood. Yep, a movie. It was about a man who followed the rules and insisted others do. He would get upset …

Cheater-Speak: "You never.... You never...." - Divorce Minister
For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. – I Corinthians 14:33, KJV “You never ___ [fill in favorite grievance].” -Cheater When you hear something repeated enough times, it is hard to shake its message. Spring Cleaning – But Does it Spark Joy? – Part Two – Pathways to Organization
The next morning before you leave for the day do a “quick clean/organize” all the sleeping areas of your house: Make beds, wipe down bathroom counters, take dirty laundry to laundry room, pick up items that are laying around and put back in their place. I also go through all my drawers, belts, scarves and jewelry and try to reduce to just what I love to wear. NOTE: Have your children do the same with their own closets to teach them at an early age! Now is the time to clear clutter off all your work surfaces and make specific places for papers and work items; go through paper files; clear out old electronic files; clean your lap top, mouse and key-board (with compressed air).

You Just Have to Do It! – Pathways to Organization
Changing your home from winter to spring that is. It’s actually called spring cleaning but that name has such a bad connotation sometimes. Many of us feel that we have to turn the whole house upside down but that’s not true.

The Spiritual Discipline of Simplicity
“For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.” 1 Corinthians 14:33 When we say yes to one thing, we are also saying thousands of nos to other things.
