Behold my servant . Primarily, as would appear, Israel in its ideal, up to which true Israelites came in measure, but only One came fully. Whom I have chosen ( ὃν ᾑρέτισα ). The Hebrew denotes "lay hold of" ( דמת ) ), i.e. for myself.
