15-17. The reason for the exultation is found in the fullness of the redemption wrought. Hath taken away thy judgments He has made an end of the judgments which have come upon the nation again and again on account of sin (compare Isaiah 40:2). Since these have come to an end, Zion may live in peace and contentment.
