Introduction

Christ is led to Pilate, and accused by the Jews, Luke 23:1 , Luke 23:2 . Pilate examines, and pronounces him innocent, Luke 23:3 , Luke 23:4 . The Jews virulently accuse him, Luke 23:5 . Pilate, understanding that he was of Galilee, sends him to Herod, by whom he is examined, Luke 23:6-9 .
