threaten. Greek. apeileo. Only here and 1 Peter 2:23 . The noun apeile occurs here, Acts 4:29 ; Acts 9:1 .Ephesians 6:9 .
that they speak, &c. = Literally no longer to speak to no man. A double negative, for emphasis.
