flesh and blood. The texts read "blood and flesh". In Hebrews flesh is never used in the moral sense of Romans 7:18 , but always of natural body.

the same . The same (things), i.e. flesh and blood, not the same flesh and blood, which had become corrupted by Adam's sin. "This same Jesus" was a direct creation of God. Compare Luke 1:35 .
