Leviticus 20:10

Lev 20:10 And the man that committeth adultery with [another] man’s wife, [even he] that committeth adultery with his neighbour’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

Ver. 10. Shall surely be put to death. ] Adultery was death long before this law. Genesis 26:11 ; Gen 38:24 So it was afterwards among the Greeks, Romans, and many other nations. Jer 29:22-23
