Numbers 23:13

Num 23:13 And Balak said unto him, Come, I pray thee, with me unto another place, from whence thou mayest see them: thou shalt see but the utmost part of them, and shalt not see them all: and curse me them from thence.

Ver. 13. From whence thou mayest see them. ] And over-look them, as they say witches do, Bασκαινειν quasi φαεσι καινειν ; Nescio quis teneros, &c. In Hebrew the same word signifies both an eye and a fountain; to show, that from the eye, as a fountain, flows both sin and misery.
