2 Chronicles 32:18

2Ch 32:18 Then they cried with a loud voice in the Jews’ speech unto the people of Jerusalem that [were] on the wall, to affright them, and to trouble them; that they might take the city.

Ver. 18. Then they cried … in the Jews’ speech] See 2 Kings 18:28 .

To affright them, and to trouble them. ] To sow the seeds of sedition amongst them, to make division, and thereby get dominion.
