Psalms 18:37

Psa 18:37 I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were consumed.

I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them, &c. ] Of David we may say, as one did of Julius Caesar, you may perceive him to have been an excellent soldier by his very language; for he wrote with the same spirit he fought.
