Verse 9
Eze 44:9 Thus saith the Lord GOD; No stranger, uncircumcised in heart, nor uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any stranger that [is] among the children of Israel.
Ver. 9. Shall enter into my sanctuary. ] See a like prohibition in 1 Timothy 3:3 ; 1Ti 3:8 Titus 1:7 . Such as were the scribes and Pharisees, the Arian bishops, the Popish priests, the cleri (ut vocant) - dehonestamenta among us, till cast out.
