Mark 9:29

29 And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.

Ver. 29. But by prayer and fasting ] The cause why they could not cure the child, was unbelief; the cure of unbelief is sought and wrought by fasting and prayer.
