Verse 49
49 And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also?
Ver. 49. Who is this that forgiveth sins also? ] Ignorance of Christ and his office bred this offence, as it doth many others. It is easy to stumble in the dark.
