Luke 8:16

16 No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light.

Ver. 16. No man, when he hath lighted, &c. ] q.d. Though to you it is given to know mysteries, &c., as Luke 8:10 , yet not for your own use only, but that your light may shine before men.
