Verse 44
44 And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.
Ver. 44. And the next sabbath day ] The apostles had been busy with them on the foregoing week days, the better to prepare them to hear with profit on the sabbath, that queen of days, as the Hebrews call it.
