1 I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost,

Ver. 1. I say the truth, &c. ] As any one is more assured of his own salvation, the more he desireth the salvation of others. Charity is no churl; as we see here in Paul.
