1 Peter 1:5

5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Ver. 5. Who are kept ] φρουρουμενοι , as with a guard, or as in a garrison, that is, well fenced with walls and works, and so is made impregnable.

By the power of God ] Much seen in the saints’ perseverance. "My Father is stronger than all; none therefore can take you out of my hands, since I and the Father are one,"John 10:29-30; John 10:29-30 .
