The apostle directs Titus
(1,) To inculcate obedience to civil magistrates, and a good behaviour toward all men, as enforced by the consideration of the marvellous change made by converting grace on true believers, whether originally Jews or Gentiles, Titus 3:1-7 .
(2,) Particularly to enforce the necessity of being diligent in the performance of all good works, as being excellent in themselves, and useful to mankind, Titus 3:8 .
(3,) To avoid all idle disputes, to censure erroneous persons, and excommunicate them if obstinate, Titus 3:9-11 .
(4,) Speedily to visit him at Nicopolis, along with Apollos and Zenas, Titus 3:12-15 .
