LUKE CHAPTER 6

Luke 6:1-5 Christ alleges Scripture in defence of his disciples plucking the ears of corn on the sabbath day.

Luke 6:6-11 He appeals to reason, and healeth the withered hand on the sabbath.

Luke 6:12-16 He spendeth the night in prayer, and chooseth the twelve apostles.

Luke 6:17-19 He healeth divers diseased,

Luke 6:20-26 pronounces blessings and woes,

Luke 6:27-45 teacheth to return good for evil, and other lessons of moral duty,

Luke 6:46-49 and admonishes to be his disciples in practice, and not in profession only.
