1 JOHN CHAPTER 2

1 John 2:1,1 John 2:2 Christ is our advocate with the Father, and a propitiation for the sins of the whole world.

1 John 2:3-6 Rightly to know God is to keep his commandments,

1 John 2:7-11 the chief of which is, to love one another.

1 John 2:12-14 The apostle addresseth Christians of all ages severally,

1 John 2:15-17 and warneth them against an inordinate love of this world,

1 John 2:18,1 John 2:19 and against deceivers, who were many.

1 John 2:20-28 He showeth the means they had of knowing the truth, and of distinguishing false teachers; and pointeth out their obligation to abide in the truth which they had been taught,

1 John 2:29 he that doeth righteousness is born of God.
