These two grandsons are also found in the above lists of both Genesis and Numbers; but nothing is found there to explain the name Birzavith , which the Keri spells with yod , the Kethiv with vau. With the former spelling its signification would be the "well of olives," and would point to its being the name of a place rather than of a person, and, as some think, that person a woman.
