Burnt his children (see Le 2 Chronicles 18:21 ); but there cannot be any doubt that Ahaz's practice here stated was an incident of the Moloch-superstition and horrible cruelty (see the parallel in its 2 Chronicles 28:3 , 2 Chronicles 28:4 ).
