(Saint Mary's College) Blairs, Aberdeen, Scotland, ecclesiastical college founded 1829, comprising the two "little seminaries" of Aquhorties and Lismore. The first important Catholic collegiate foundation in Scotland after the Reformation, it has educated many priests for the Scottish mission. The archives of the Diocese of Glasgow, and important correspondence left by Archbishop Beaton (died 1603), are preserved here. The college was rebuilt, 1897,1903. Faculty, 11; students, 143.
