Helena, Montana. Founded 1910 by Bishop John Patrick Carroll, and named for Saint Charles Borromeo. Conducted by the diocesan clergy. Preparatory school; college of arts and sciences; summer school. There is a preparatory seminary under secular clergy. In 1932 the name was changed to Carroll College in honour of the founding bishop.
