Princess, born Saint Petersburg, 1797; died Louisiana, 1843. She was converted from the Orthodox faith and shortly after entered the Religious of the Sacred Heart at Metz, 1826. She was elected assistant-general, 1839, and while in the United States was stricken with yellow fever, dying a martyr of charity.
