A Mass celebrated for the parishoners on all Sundays and Holy Days of obligation. The parish priest is not obliged to celebrate it, but if he does not he must offer his Mass for that intention. If it is a High Mass it is preceded by the aspersion of water and the blessing on Sunday. It is accompanied by an instruction, special prayers, announcements, etc.
