According to their acts which, however, are considered apocryphal, they were Egyptians, probably brothers, in the service of Saint Eugenia; arrested for their faith, they were burned at the stake, as their charred remains found in the cemetery of Saint Hermes on the Via Salaria in 1845 indicate.
