KIRIATH is the st. constr. of Kiriah , the complement of which, - jearim , seems to have fallen out in Joshua 18:28 , from its resemblance to the word for ‘cities’ which follows. Therefore we ought probably to read Kiriath-jearim , a reading supported by the LXX [Note: Septuagint.] .
