Ahi'lud. (a brother of one born, that is, before him).
1. Father of Jehoshaphat, the recorder or chronicler of the kingdom, in the reigns of David and Solomon. 2 Samuel 8:16; 2 Samuel 20:24; 1 Kings 4:3; 1 Chronicles 18:15. (B.C. before 1015).
2. The father of Baana, one of Solomon's twelve commissariat officers. 1 Kings 4:12. It is uncertain whether he is the same as Ahilud, 1.
