Eaton, John was born at Kant in 1575, and studied at Oxford. In 1625 he was made rector of Wickham Market, Suffolk, where he died in 1641. His writings: are Antinomian. They are, The Discovery of a most dangerous dead Faith (London 1641, 12mo): The Honeycomb of free Justification (London 1642,. 4to). John McClintock was born October 27, 1814 in Philadelphia to Irish immigrants, John and Martha McClintock. He began as a clerk in his father's store, and then became a bookkeeper in the Methodist Book Concern in New York. Here he converted to Methodism and considered joining the ministry. McClintock entered the University of Pennsylvania in 1832 and graduated with high honors three years later.
