Turkish scholar of the eighteenth century. He was the author of "Maṭṭeh Asher" (Salonica, 1748), containing responsa, novellæ on some parts of the "Yad ha-Ḥazaḳah," laws concerning the slaughtering of animals after the method of Jacob Weil, and sermons.
