In Jeremiah 2:2 God says “I remember the devotion of your youth, how as a bride you loved me and followed me through the desert” Jeremiah 3:14 – God speaks to His people after they had left Him: “Return, faithless people, declares the Lord, for I am your husband.” In Jeremiah 3:20: “But like a woman unfaithful to her husband, so you have been unfaithful to Me.” We Are God’s First Love We are God’s 1st love, and He wants to be our 1st love and have an intimate personal relationship with us.
