19. Tell you… believe The ruin wrought by the treason of Judas might seem to the apostles a proof that the claims of Jesus were vain, and his Messiahship a fiction. But when it is the very event by Jesus foretold, it is a proof not a refutation of that Messiahship. That I am he That I am the Son of God, who have chosen, (John 13:18,) and sent you forth.
