Recently a brother asked who believed that persecution is coming to Christians in North America. The response was mixed, some have a clear sense in their spirit that it was coming, but a few 100% did not believe this was possible and felt it was extreme to believe this. The importance is for us to go back to Scripture and see clearly in the end times there will be persecution world-wide for those who name the name of Jesus Christ and live godly (Matthew 24).
Brother Alan Martin who is an elder of a fellowship in Missouri shared his believe of coming persecution, his words are sobering and true to hear:
This type of physical persecution may indeed be on the horizon, but it might be just what the doctor ordered for our "spiritual sleep disorder."
Those forced into box cars and prison camps will not have the many worldly "pleasures" to distract them. Thus they will have far more reason to pray without ceasing.
Love of pleasure has served the enemy so well, to lull millions to sleep.
We are never told to fear those who can kill the body and after this do no more. We are told to watch out that we not be deceived, and that our hearts not become weighted down with anxiety and dissipation.
Those who would forcibly remove all our possessions will be placing us in a far better position to fix our affections on things above.
The church is being decimated by comfort and ease.
I will not fear what might be so great a blessing. No man can take my Lord from me, let them have all the things that distract my attention.
Be the first to react on this!

“Christianity was birthed in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and will only continue as we have this empowering from above. God is always looking for the willing vessels that will trust Him afresh for the impossible.” from: Principles for the gathering of Believers under the Headship of Jesus Christ.Since 2012, a growing group of believers in North America started to warn of coming persecution to western countries. This message was shared in a variety of ways. One of the responses to this was to compile a book taking principles from underground Churches around the world of how they thrived under pressure and persecution. The volume, Principles for the Gathering of Believers, had in a short time over 50,000 downloads in ebook format and much interest was shown. Some new house churches started through this and other existing groups were encouraged.
