My heart doesn't tend to go towards giving thanks during the difficult circumstances of my life. Honestly, my heart doesn't automatically go to giving thanks even in the good times of my life. I'm reminded in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 that giving thanks in all things is God's will for us.
