Chapter 11 gets into the Covenant of God with the fathers of the Tribe of Judah. God reminds them of the promise to father Abraham to inherit the land of milk and honey. The tribe of Judah is like a branch that was broken off from the olive tree, the olive oil is representative of the Holy Spirit. We also see a cross-reference of Romans 11 of an olive branch that was broken off from the iniquity of the people, but God is not done with the Jews because how much more easier would the natural olive branches be grafted back on.
