Joshua 3:1-8 ‘The Exultation of Joshua’
Mark brings to note that a strong faith and trust in the Lord led Joshua’s decision to attack the most fortified and most difficult target as his first action on the west side of the Jordan. Later in this message we are shown the profound encouragement of the Lord saying to Joshua, ‘I will be with you as I was with Moses’. You will note that woven in as Mark covers these verses, is the explanation of the names given to Joshua, ultimately pointing to the name which blesses all who hear, ‘God is salvation’!
