Questions for Reflection and Discussion:
1. The people in Jerusalem wanted to be right with God, and so they actively responded to God's word in humility and confession. Can you think of a time where you responded to God's word this way, and how it impacted your walk with the Lord?
2. The people also separated themselves from the foreigners (the world) in the land. Is there anything of the world right now that is holding you back from revival and walking in a right relationship with the Lord?
3. *If you answered 'yes' to question 2* What could you do this week to separate yourself from the world and what is holding you back from walking properly with God?

This week, re-read Nehemiah 9 and pray through the truths you see in it. Find someone to discuss this chapter with and/or share the word with someone you don't know as well.
