Today’s text that the HS moved St. Paul to record for our instruction, is taken from Paul’s second letter to the Thessalonian church.

And within his letter Paul is speaking of a specific incident in the future history of the world, an event that will begin to reveal to us an ominous yet cunning individual whose entire life and being, will be characterized by opposition to God’s will and command. Who is this person? Holy Scripture identifies him as the Antichrist.
