This video is about Acts 6:8-9:31 - The Light Can't be Put Out

DISCUSSION GUIDE:
Stephen review: The religious leaders Stephen was talking to were very familiar with the history and scriptures that Stephen quoted, but they did not understand or they refused to humbly accept God’s work.
What truths do you find difficult to accept and believe (i.e. God really loves me) What’s the danger of rejected it?
What are some things that hinder or keep you from studying God’s word?

Philip review: The Gospel is not hindered by racial and ethnic differences. It is the church's responsibility to initiate and cross those barriers with the Light of Jesus Christ. With the Ethiopian, he cared about the individual. He asked questions and sought to meet him where he was at and lead him to an understanding of Christ.
What are questions we could ask to initiate gospel conversations? Or at least understand where someone is at spiritually?
What questions could you ask a friend this week just to gage where they are at?
Is there someone God is convicting you to simply bring this up with (ask them the question)?
When would be the next natural time you could talk to them (in person of text)?
Can’t think of anyone?? Do you think God may be calling you to adjust your schedule/structures within your life such that you are rubbing shoulders more with unbelievers? (just something to chew on).

Saul review: Saul was bad (understatement). Then God transformed him. No one is outside of God’s power to save.
How does Paul’s testimony encourage you to persevere?
