Dr. Jordan Rogers will continue his captivating walk through The Gospel of John with this sermon from John 1:43-51 entitled, "Three Works of Jesus."

John’s purpose in John 1:43-51 is to record Jesus’ calling of Philip to follow Him and Philip’s action of bringing Nathanael to follow Jesus as well. Nathanael, though at first dismissive, confesses Jesus as the Son of God when He displays His omniscience. Then, Jesus reveals that His disciples will see His very work of mediation between heaven and earth, as the angels of God will be seen ascending and descending upon him. In this passage, we see that Jesus is the One who finds His disciples, sees every heart, and mediates between heaven and earth.

The following is a sermon on John 1:43-51, and below you will find the video recording and a sermon outline to help you follow along as you watch. I hope this study tool helps you grow in your love for the Lord Jesus and in your obedience to Him.
