The Lord has told Gideon to break down the altar of Baal, build an altar to him, and sacrifice a young bull on it. Gideon has done as the Lord commanded. The next morning, the men of the city came out to find the altar broken down and once they found out who did it, called Gideon's father and told him to bring out his son that he may be killed for doing such a thing. What was Gideon's father's response? In Lesson 19 of our study of Judges we learn the answer to this question.
