While we understand the environmental dangers lurking around us and the need for social distancing, we are not to spiritually distance ourselves from our neighbor. Jesus sends us into dangerous territory as sheep in the midst of wolves (Matt. 10:16). But along the command, He encourages us with His word, “Do not fear.”
Join us this Sunday at 9 AM for an informative sermon on Matthew 10:26-31 by our Senior Pastor!

“So do not be afraid of them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs. Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows." Matthew 10:26-31

Introduction: It is wise to practice social distancing for the good of all. But it goes against God’s will, if out of fear, we spiritually distance ourselves from our neighbor. Jesus gives us three reasons why we should not fear when danger lurks.
