Words that Give Life! (Luke 4:31-37 Brief Reflection)

"All the people were amazed and said to each other, “What words these are! With authority and power he gives orders to impure spirits and they come out!” Luke 4:36

God’s Word is true. It can give life. It can heal. It can encourage. It even challenges to live in a radical way, a way that is not of this world.

What about our words? Are they life-giving?

We know that our words has power that can either make or break a person. It can pierce through the heart and soul. It can be like a potters hand that molds.

May we be kind with our words despite our tendencies to be unkind at times.

"The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life." John 6:63
