On this second Sunday of Advent, we look at a profound and hope-filled prophecy of Isaiah as he describes the new world God is bringing into being, a world with no more tears, no more sorrow, no more sin, no more death. But waiting for this world to come is hard work! That's why we need to celebrate Advent; to learn how to wait for the Lord's coming with more hope, greater patience, and quiet confidence. Also, we celebrate the Lord's Supper, so get some bread and wine and join in!
