There are reasons why wife may react to the spirit of her husband. She is aware that she is not first place in your life by your attitude. You may be ignoring her.
Failure to recognize the attempts she makes to please you. She worked all day and you did not recognize the cake she baked, or, "That's not like my Mother's." Don't compare her with others.
Leadership is a must She wants this more than anything else. Lead with firmness, but in love and gentleness.
Rejection of her opinion as unimportant. Sometimes a wife sees only a small frame of reference and he sees the bigger picture. Then he tends to reject her because she makes a suggestion for the business for farm. Remember two heads are better than one. A wife can be an asset. She has something important to say, so listen to her.
Be disciplined. Be able to get up in the morning, have control over your spirit. Take showers more than once a week.
Be considerate in preparation for changes. Knowing something for long time and not informing his wife of an event is hard to deal with.
Be consistent with discipline. She can sense if you interfere when she is disciplining the children. That causes the children to manipulate their parents, the one against the other, disloyalty occurs. If you disagree do it quietly when the children are not there. It is important that you are backing her up and that you are working together at all times.
Your relationship to one another must get better and better, improving from day to day. You must take the initiative, love her, put your arms around her, do something nice, compliment her; It will cost your humility, your love, your time; deny yourself in watching TV in order to spend time with the children. Put some of these principles into practice and things will get better and better in your marriage. May your goal be that your wife will grow spiritually, that she might become a woman of God. When your children see how you love your wife, then they also will respond.
