Jesus, The Way

I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6
Jesus said these words after Thomas asked Jesus, "Lord, we don't know where you are going, so how can we know the way?" The way to heaven, to our Father is and has always been through Jesus who made peace through His blood, shed on the cross.
We are going to heaven to be with God eternally when we die if we've made a choice to trust in Jesus to be our Saviour. But there are many who have not trusted in Jesus as their Saviour and are relying on themselves to get to heaven. There are people who believe that all go to heaven because there is no hell. I talked to a person this week who asked me if I believed in hell. I told the person that hell is what Jesus saved us from, eternal separation from God.
I have started to spend more time praying and reading the Bible, preparing for the ministry opportunities God has given me. I am preparing so that I can address the questions and misconceptions people have regarding the Word of God and to present Jesus Christ to them. What people need today is Jesus Christ and Him alone.
Every week I teach a group of young people and challenge them to live the life of Christ.
Pray right now for all us who are God's children that we would present Jesus Christ boldly and clearly and that people would respond to the Holy Spirit's prompting in their lives. Pray that God would have mercy on those who do not have Jesus as their Saviour.
