It's always an easy thing to look at and see the faults of others, but becomes very difficult for us to look at and see ourselves.  Measuring ourselves against others is never wise because we will always see someone else who is doing worse then ourselves.  But when we look into the word of God, and measure ourselves against the word of God only, it will force us to see just how far we're off from looking, acting, thinking and even talking like our father.  If we do this honestly we will find we have no time to judge or point fingers at anyone else.

Seeing Yourself Part 2- Proverbs 30:12

The hardest thing for a lot of us Christians to do is to see ourselves.  We focus on the speck that's in someone else's life, but can't see the plank in ours.  This is why it is so important that we not measure ourselves by looking at the lives of others because we will always appear to be living a better spiritual life than someone else (Luke 18:9-14) until we look through the eyes of the Word of God.  If we humbly align ourselves to the word of God we will quickly see that we STILL have a long, long way to go to be like the Lord!

Seeing Yourself Part 1- Proverbs 30:12

We must rely on our great strength which is Jesus.  Sampson found himself in a terrible place because of his disobedience and because of it he lost his strength.  However; because of his repentant heart God gave him revenge on his enemy .  If we are not careful, satan will make folly of us after we've lost our strength by trying to live righteously and worldly at the same time.  God wants us to be obedient to His word and his direction if we do this we will have the strength we need to defeat the enemy through the strength of God

Great Strength- Judges 16:5, 6

Paul was very plain when he told the Corinthians that he could not give them meat or sound doctrine because they were still babes and had to receive milk.  But Jesus came and died for mankind while we were sinners and without strength.  Now that we are Believers, Saints, Christians we should no longer be operating without strength.  Christ expects us to be able to help those who are babes in the gospel.  He expects us to be able to cast out demons and thread over serpents.  Our strength comes from His word, therefore in order to have strength we must grow in the word and allow the word to transform our mind so that we are able to fight against the wiles and schemes of the enemy.  Christ died for us so that we can walk in righteousness and in His strength!

Yet Without Strength- Romans 5:3-6

Joseph came by night and claimed the body of Jesus for fear of the Jews, but God does not want us to be secret disciples, just as Jesus openly and without shame got on the cross and died for the sin of mankind, we too must be willing to lay down our sinful lives and put on the new man and live in righteousness unto God .  He was not more concerned about what he looked like on the cross but rather he was more  concerned about fulfilling his purpose of why he came here, so In this day and time we cannot be ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power of God unto Salvation to everyone that believeth, to the Jew first, and also the Greek.  If we are truly born again believers, our lives must line up with God's word 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  We must put God's word in action which is done by how we live, our lifestyles

The Secret Disciple - St John 19:38-39

Leprosy is symbolic of sin.  The 10 lepers acknowledged their condition.  That sin caused them to be afar off from the people, which is the same thing sin does to us.  It puts afar off from Jesus.  Because they could not get to Jesus because of their disease, they cried out to Jesus.  And because they cried out Jesus healed them of their disease.  Jesus is wanting to do the same thing for us today.  Even though you feel you are too dirty to get close to Jesus do as the lepers did, cry out to God he will hear your faintest cry and He will surely answer you by cleansing you of all your sin!

It's Time to Get Moving - Luke 17:12-14 (part 1)

Israel found themselves in a terrible predicament in which they were worshipping idol gods and God was not pleased.  They were in dire need of hearing a word from the Lord.  Once they got a message from God through Samuel, they repented and God turned their situation around which led them back to God.  We in this day and time if not careful will find ourselves just like the Israelites.   God is using men and women of God telling people everywhere it's time to repent and come back to God.  It's only in God we live, move and have our being!

The Lord Has Helped Us 1 Samuel 7:10-12

Elisha wanted the Joash King of Israel to shoot the arrows out of the window and he did.  He then took the arrows and struck them 3 times on the ground and Elisha was wroth with him, because he should had struck them until he destroyed them.  Elisha lets him know that he would beat the enemy only three times but had he beat the arrows until there was nothing left he would have defeated the enemy forever.  This is what the christian today must do.  We cannot fight the enemy half hearted, no we must engage in warfare until we no longer see any evidence of him being around us.  Just as the King had Elisha's hand to help him to guide the arrow when he shot it, we have the guiding of God's word and the Holy Spirit to help us to help us conquer the enemy right in the middle of his strategy against God's people.  Make no mistake about it, the battle is the Lord, but we must get in the fight, and fight to win!

It's Time for Deliverance 2 Kings 13:15-19

God sent a warning through the prophet Isaiah because his people didn't want to hear the truth.  They told the prophet to prophecy to them smooth things, they didn't want him to speak on their sins, they encouraged him to speak to  them lies, and wasn't concerned about how God felt about it.  Unfortunately we're living in an era where the people of God are just like that.   People want to heart sermons that will satisfy their fleshly appetites and God wasn't pleased with  it then, and He's not pleased with it now.

Smooth Things Isaiah 30:9-13 (part 1)

God knows those who are His, and has sealed us with His Spirit.  Therefore, we must understand that the enemy can come no closer to us than what God allows, and it's equally important that we must carry ourselves in a way as believers that we keep a constant, consistent relationship with God

The Mark (or Seal) of God  Ezekiel 9:3,6

We owe God everything.  Our lives should be used as instruments for the Master's Use, for when He saw us we were polluted in our own blood but He said LIVE!  We should never take His compassion, grace and mercy for granted.  Whatever He has brought us out of, it's high time that we should  not live that way any longer but now use our members to serve and glorify Him!

Live! Ezekiel 16:6

In these last and evil days it is imperative that we have discernment.  We cannot afford to get caught up or admire the wrong thing.  We must know the purpose and the intent of what we are admiring.  What John admired was in total opposition against God, so much so that the angel had to get his attention and made him see that what he was admiring, was working directly against God.  In this day not only can we not afford to operate in discernment but also in Godly wisdom understanding that anything that will cause to go against God's word must be abated at all cost

Great Admiration Revelation 17: 3-7

When we walk in carnality we cannot please God.  For the fleshly mind is against the Spiritual mind, and the spirit mind is against the fleshly mind therefore we must choose who we will follow.  To be double minded cause us to be unstable in all of our ways, and we can receive nothing from God this way. God has a plan for mankind which is to walk in the spirit so that we will no longer fulfill the lust of the flesh.  However the only way we can do this effectively is to allow the Holy Spirit to transform our mind daily so that we can hear clearly and  won't be walking around in a state of confusion from day to day!

In this day and time we have to make a decision as to whose side we're on.  If God be God follow but if Baal be god then follow him.

Following God's Instructions even when we can't understand them always leads to Victory and Success!  However, not following them totally only leads to defeat and demise!

God's Instructions 1 Kings 13: 7-10

It is imperative that we have oil in our lamps but not just in our lamp but extra oil because we know not when the Son of God shall appear!  The Spirit of God that we possess on the inside isn't enough to share with others so we need to protect it and always be seeking more of His Spirit  because at the time we think not He may come back for us.  Don't be like the 5 virgins who were unprepared

The world has a lot to offer, but we must be careful.  We might get what we want naturally but loose what God has for us Spiritually!
