Dr. Matthew Young is a native of upper East Tennessee and is the son of Victor and Linda Young. He went to Daniel Boone High School and has four earned degrees. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Religion, a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling, a Master of Divinity all from Luther Rice University and a Doctorate of Ministry from Grace Theological Seminary. He has been in full time ministry for over nine years and is the pastoral assistant at the church. He has been married to his bride Brandi “Boyd” Young for fourteen years and has two children. His goal is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ wherever he goes and to utilize the tools before us, like social networking sites, in order to bring that Gospel before a larger audience.
