Pastor Danny continues in Romans 14:6-9 with a powerful message on our responsibilities within the Body of Christ to NOT dispute over doubtful things.  Also Pastor Danny addresses a conflict that was presented within the Body about those who are in leadership who have been divorced.

Pastor Danny's Sunday morning teaching in Romans 13:5-7 shows us out responsibility with the government and in doing so honoring God Himself and having a good conscience before Him.

"But for conscience sake"   Romans 13:5-7

God knew their wandering hearts and that He would one day call them back form their rebellion.  Israel has never served God with their whole heart, but hey will  . . . He said so.  And God will be faithful to His covenant.

This teaching was on a Sunday morning in Romans 8:12-15 and Pastor Danny explains how if you are a true believer in Jesus Christ . . the Spirit of God has us, it is because we are willingly following Him, and willingly being led by Him. 
 
And our obligation, our allegiance is no longer to the flesh, but to the Spirit. Because it is the Spirit who convicts us of sin, or makes us aware of our sin through our conscience, but much more than that He also illuminates us [enlightens us, educates us] and sanctifies us by giving us the desire and strength to obey that which He has revealed to us.

Pastor Danny takes us through the end of chapter 10:17-21 in this teaching. And in verse 16 Paul says "have they not heard", who is the "they" he is referring to? 
 
He is talking about those who have chosen to disobey or disregard the gospel! And they [the Jews] chose to disobey not because they had not heard, but rather out of stubborn disobedience, clinging to the traditions of their fathers [forefathers] instead.

Firstfruits here is a term used for those who are consecrated unto God early [or the first portion of His own] and it also refers to those who are superior to others in the same class. [We both have and are the firstfruits of the Spirit]. 
 
The inference or connotation here is those who have early on or earlier in time had a foretaste of the power of God thorough the Holy Spirit in our lives and because of it been chosen and called. Those who have been claimed by the Holy Spirit. Those who have been "declared" holy or righteous, those set apart.

RRCC Sunday February 7, 2016, Pastor Danny teaches on Romans 9:15-24. These are some of the verses Calvinist's use to substantiate their position on predestination and election. He also reiterated that he believes Calvinist's are our brothers and sisters in the body of Christ because they believe in the fundamentals of our Christian faith..... faith leading to salvation, which is belief in our Lord Jesus Christ. But on the other side of that he gave his reasoning's for his strong disagreement with the Calvinist's doctrinal position on the 5 points of Calvinism or TULIP. Another point that was made is .... God gave us His word so that we would understand it. Isaiah 55:8-9 says "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways "says the Lord" For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts." So indeed we cannot understand His ways or His thoughts except when He reveals them to us in scripture. His word is not a mystery that cannot be understood and indeed He gave it to us for the sole purpose of our understanding. Calvinist's believe that "predestination and election are a mystery that cannot be understood. Jeremiah 8:9 says "The wise men are ashamed. They are dismayed and taken. Behold they have rejected the word of the Lord; So what wisdom do they have. 
 
This teaching is packed full of scripture to support Pastor Danny's position of why he disagrees with the Calvinist's view.
